What to do in Marseille: ideas for visits not to be missed

The Old Port, the Canebière, Pastis and bowls ... who does not know the Marseille clichés? While this is of essential landmarks, there are many other things to do, see or visit in Marseille. You've booked your flight Paris Marseille and you wonder what to do in Marseille? This is great, we've prepared a list of 10 Visits not to be missed in this beautiful city.

Walk up "Notre Dame de la Garde" :
3 routes will get you to the foot of the Good Mother. A good small step, a little steep, but you'll be proud of you, once you reach the top. Choose your path, whether by the north face, south, east or west. The route south is definitely the most beautiful, but shhh, it should stay secret! It goes into effect through pine forest and scrubland, and in the middle of the city. Count 1h30 walk from the Canebiere. If you slip in the road, do not panic, it is still possible to catch a bus to finish the ride. A small train also takes you to the top of the hill, while crossing the typical districts of Marseille. Meet at the Tourist Office for details on all these routes

Picnic the Corniche and reach the small port of Vallon des Auffes :
Take sandwiches and cold drinks and take the JK Corniche Kennedy, instead of the citéphocéenne must walk, heart stroke many visitors and Marseille themselves. Go Pharo, make the transition from the stunning views of the Old Port, and continue your way until you reach the valley of Auffes. A true postcard setting, it is almost impossible not to fall in love with this small fishing port.
Antiquing in the Sun market, the souk of Marseille

Located near the Porte d'Aix in the middle of the Avenue Camille Pelletan, you will find all the oriental products at great prices. Decorations, clothing, spices, frankincense: it is North Africa that spreads before your eyes. Change of scenery.
Pace the course Julien

In the 6th district of Marseille is one of the quietest streets of the city and because it is partially closed to traffic. It is very pleasant to wander on foot, and to go shopping. These are many and varied, there is something for all tastes and all budgets. Fountains, playgrounds, as well as outdoor cafés provide a particularly warm air that we call here "the course Ju"
Attending a football match at the Stade Velodrome.

Pregnant club Olympique de Marseille :
the Velodrome is often considered the most passionate Stade de France. Under the warm sun of Marseille, aficionados are indeed many game days, and the atmosphere is boiling. No need to be specifically football fan, the show is both on the field and in the stands.
Spend the evening at the pub La Fiesta and dance on the tables

Lots of atmosphere in this bar in the 6th arrondissement :
You eat, we drink and we danced. The kitchen is rather simplistic, but it's mostly for cocktails and crazy atmosphere that is found here. Friends, for a birthday or bachelor boy for example, you go to dance on the tables? More information Fiesta Marseille.
